World Press Photo Awards 2004

BBC News has a gallery of a dozen of the winning images from the World Press Photo Awards for 2004. I think the last three images РJahi Chikwendiu's shot of a sandstorm in Chad, Lars Tunbj̦rk's image from a fashion show, and Bob Martin's overhead shot of a swimming heat at the Paralympic Games Рare my favourites.
