At least the time slot, and subject, has pretty much kept the station, a font of internal politics that often has spilled out into the news (WBAI has a long pedigree of Pacifica Foundation leftism), from ever messing with the program. I suppose that the show's host is at the mercy of authors' tour schedules, so I'll cut it some slack and give the show a few weeks to impress me. Even getting up at 5 a.m. was a delight. Now that it's on at, in my present time zone, 3-5 a.m., somehow I seem to not often remember to be awake. Funny, that. (Besides, calling in is a <i>lot</i> more expensive from here.) However, when I skimmed the page I thought it said 5 to 7pm, which wouldn't work terribly well for us right-pond types. Thanks for pointing out my mistake.
