Take on Me

I’ve never seen a episode of Family Guy: I think I caught part of an episode during a run on Channel 4 years ago, but it didn’t strike me as anything special, and certainly not on a par with The Simpsons or Daria or King of the Hill or Futurama. Even so, I’ve got to admit that this clip featuring a trip into a famous 80s pop video is very, very nicely done.

    John, I was exactly the same. I watched some of FG on CH4 when it first came out and soon gave up. Then I happened to catch some episodes on Sky One when it was in it’s 3rd series and I couldn’t believe the difference.

    I was so disappointed when it was cancelled in the US but so pleased when it was resurected which I can’t recall happening on the same network

    Personally I think the current series (the one with the A-ha video) isn’t as good as the previous one so if you liked that you really should grab the Season 3 DVD (or the 1,2,3 box set SE)

    BTW, I’m pretty sure I told you about the JLH guest appearance. Funny episode

    I’m trying to cut back on my box set purchases nowadays, but I’ll certainly keep an eye out should the show pop up on TV again.
