Gapminder

December 11th, 2005

Gapminder is a neat little application for Windows or MacOS that displays interactive charts of various trends revealed by the UN Development Programme's report on Human Development Trends 2005.

It's a pity the whole thing had to be wrapped up in an application when it's basically a collection of Flash animations that would work quite nicely if embedded in a succession of linked web pages (and would be platform-independent if presented that way), but I have to admit that it's a tidy little piece of work.
