Ugly Air

November 8th, 2007

I have to admit to rather liking a couple of the entries in this list of the Top 10 ugliest commercial airplanes ever. For my money, the Qantas aboriginal design and the ANA panda design are a pleasing alternative to the usual run of bland airline liveries.

(On the other hand, the Alaska Airlines Salmon Thirty Salmon is an atrocity.)

Those paint jobs are all awesome, each and every one. The planes themselves are just the standard commercial fare, whats not to like about their lines?

Even the McDonalds plane - though it’s a bit garish - isn’t “ugly”. It’s just red.

This guy apparently thinks that the beige boxes that comprised the PCS of the 80s were hot. What a dork.
