Pretty pictures
This week's selection:
- I'm not at all convinced that Beam of Hope isn't a PhotoShop job, but it's damn pretty either way.
- The volcanic island of Surtsey is utterly barren, but for a couple of man-made structures and a smallish patch of plant life on the southern part of the island. By contrast the Bay of Biscay is teeming with life, as trillions of plankton bloom.
